It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of vanilla, liquorice stick and very discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juicy and finely acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy wild raspberry associated with a touch of cornflower, juicy/crunchy blueberry as well as fine hints of liquorce stick, cardamom and a subtle hint of nutmeg. Tannins are well-built.”

With considerable elegance and purity on the palate, this is a more ethereal, seamless wine, delivering terrific tannins, a juicy yet integrated spine of acidity, and outstanding length. It's certainly the finest wine I've tasted from this estate to date, and the 2019 also looks to be another great vintage here, so this is an estate to keep your eye on.”
