95/100 Andreas Larsson, Tasted
“Nice purity on the nose blending wild berries with violet, dark berries and Kirsch, a gentle hint of oak in the background. Very nice concentration and weight with modest extraction, plenty of finely grained tannins and a fresh acidity underneath, layers of flavour intense dark fruit and a very long finish, stylish and glossy.”

94-95/100 Vert de Vin
“On the nose, it is fruity, fresh and offers elegance, a nice definition as well as a certain aromatic purity. It reveals notes of bright cassis, wild strawberry, small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of black plum, graphite/wet stone as well as hint of toast, sichuan pepper, subtle hints of spices and tabaco. On the palate, it is fruity, balanced nicely racy and offers a nice finesse of the texture, delicacy, a nice definition as well as a fine acidulous frame, a very fine tension. The wine expresses notes of juicy/bright blackcurrant, small black berries, small notes of juicy/fresh blueberry associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, cherry blossom, cornflower, racy minerality (limestone), toast, tonka bean as well as fine hints of spices and nice bitterness. The tannins are precise and very fine. Good length.”

94/100 James Suckling
” Aromas of blackberries and currants with cloves, vanilla, hazelnut and wet stones. It’s full and structured with velvety, polished tannins and creamy texture. Deep, toned dark fruit character with some salinity to it. Lingering finish with notes of graphite and walnuts.”
94/100 Jeb Dunnuck
” Cassis, blackberries, scorched earth, graphite, and a beautiful sense of minerality all emerge from the 2020 Château De Ferrand, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, yet wonderfully balanced Saint-Emilion. It already offers pleasure yet is going to benefit from just 2-4 years of bottle age and have 15-20 years, if not more, of overall longevity. It's another incredible 2020 from the Right Bank.”
94/100 Decanter
"A lovely floral fragrance on the nose with cool blue fruit elements; fresh and appealing. Juicy, bright and clean, this stands out with mouthwatering acidity underpinning a sleek core of well-defined creamy and chalky fruits - blackcurrant, plum and blueberry with lots of fragrance, too; you really get the Cabernet Franc speaking here. There is tons of salinity as well as oak aspects in the clove, cinnamon and bitter dark chocolate. It's well made with so many elements on show, but all well configured. A gourmet, dark chocolate bitterness lingers on the finish. Feels well made and purposeful. Dark, brooding and persistent. A great wine from an estate that's really improving. Winemaker Gonzague de Lambert with consultant Axel Marchal."
94/100 Markus Del Monego MW
93/100 Falstaff
“Dark ruby, purple reflections, deep core, faint ochre brightening on the rim. Fresh, ripe plums, sweet cherries, tobacco, soft notes of liquorice and orange, inviting bouquet. Juicy, silky texture, red cherry fruit, subtle sweetness, fine tannins, fresh and persistent, very good balance, already seems drinkable.”
