As I taste Château Nénin 2022, it feel as if layers of cascading violet petals are tenderly brushing against my cheeks. Overflowing with fruitiness, its delicate finesse and crystalline acidity evoke the heartstrings like a melody. A subtle graphite note enshrouds the entire body in a dark purple robe, while the bright flavors of ripe black plums and mulberries provide brilliance on the palate. Following the vintage of 2019 and 2020, Château Nénin has once again orchestrated a resplendent symphony in 2022, compelling us to rise and applaud its exquisite beauty.

The medium to full-bodied palate is plush and soft spoken, with layers of fragrant black fruit and a long spicy finish.

The 2022 Nénin is terrific. Pliant, rich and creamy in the glass, the 2022 is a formidable example of the year. Soft, plush contours wrap around a core of red/purplish berry fruit. Touches of blood orange, mint, cinnamon and rose petal lend nuance to this sensual, alluring Pomerol from the Delon family. The 2022 is beautifully done. Drinking window : 2028-2042
