1 fl. Casanova di Neri, Brunello Tenuta Nuova 2012
99 Point af Luca Gardini
97 Point af International Wine Report
97 Point af Doctor Wine by Daniele Cernilli (aug. 2018)
"A bright ruby color and a very clean and broad bouquet with notes of red fruit, dark and Marasca cherry, strawberry tree and a touch of light spice. The excellent mouthfeel has a thick and elegant texture and the progression is also excellent with its youthful tannins well-integrated while the acidity stands out and makes this an intriguing drop. The excellent persistency and integrity of the finish make it sumptuous."
97 Point af Falstaff
96 Point af Robert Parker!
"The complexity is absolutely impressive"
96 Point af James Suckling!
1 fl. Chateau Pape Clement 2012
97/100 Robert Parker
” The iconic 2012 Pape Clement is a candidate for near-perfection as well as one of the wines of the vintage. This extraordinary vineyard (a few miles to the west of Haut Brion and La Mission Haut Brion) has hit all the highlights of this vintage. Interestingly, the quality of the Pomerols and Graves wines in 2012 is closer to what one would consider a great vintage than the general image of 2012. This is truly great wine and not far off their magnificent 2005 and 2010. Full-bodied, with rich cassis, subtle burning embers and spice followed by velvety, well-integrated tannins, the wine is lush, expansive, savory and profound. This is a remarkable wine that could be drunk at a reasonably young age, but should cellar brilliantly for a quarter-century. Yields were modest at 37 hectoliters per hectare from this 132-acre estate. The alcohol level came in at 13.5%.”

1 fl. Chateau Les Carmes Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan 2014
97/100 Jean-Marc Quarin
"A magic vintage for this estate"
95+/100 Vinous
"One of the stars of the vintage, the 2014 Les Carmes Haut-Brion is total knock-out. Graphite, smoke, red cherry jam, spice, cured meat, pomegranate and tobacco are just some of the myriad sensations that race out of the glass."

1 fl. GIODO Brunello 2014
95/100 International Wine Report
”One of the finest wines of the vintage, the 2014 Giodo Brunello di Montalcino shows wonderful elegance and refinement. It begins to impress as it opens to pretty aromatics of ripe black plums, strawberry and fresh cut florals and cloves spices all taking shape. It possesses a full body with soft, round tannins and lovely fresh acidity that persists through the long finish. This is a brilliant wine from Carlo Ferrini which will be ready approach early, but also shows the potential to offer a graceful evolution over the next decade.”
95/100 Doctor Wine by Daniele Cernelli
94+/100 Robert Parker
“Carlo Ferrini's Giodo 2014 Brunello di Montalcino proudly defies the poor expectations of the vintage. Many see the 2014 vintage as problematic, but it did in fact outperform in many unexpected situations. This wine speaks to the more nuanced and Burgundian side of Brunello. It offers delicate berry notes with wild cherry, rose hip, licorice, grilled herb and toasted aniseed. In the mouth, this is a polished and tightly textured expression with silky tannins and long, streamlined appeal. I am very happily surprised by this beautiful wine…”

1 fl. Château Pontet-Canet 5. Cru Classé Pauillac 2008
96/100 Robert Parker
“A candidate for the “wine of the vintage,” Pontet Canet’s 2008 boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious aromas of sweet blueberries, blackberries and black currant fruit intertwined with lead pencil shavings, subtle barbecue smoke and a hint of forest floor. Full-bodied, with fabulous richness, texture and tremendous freshness, this first-growth-like effort is more developed than the uber-powerful 2010. Give it 5-8 years of cellaring and drink it over the following three decades. Bravo!”
96/100 Jeb Dunnuck
“Unquestionably one of the gems in the vintage is the 2008 Pontet-Canet…”
