Wauw... Hyldet som et af 2011-årgangens bedste køb og vurderet som værende på niveau med hundedyr 1. Cru Classé. Snyd dig ikke for denne snart 15 år gamle Saint-Julien-kælderskat!
Med sine 118 hektar er Château Lagrange det klart største slot i prestige-kommunen St-Julien. I dag er 3. Cru Classé-slottet anerkendt som et af de bedste i St-Julien, men der har været store bump på vejen. I 1950’erne udryddede en brand store dele af vinmarkerne og indtil at den japanske Suntory-gruppe købte slottet i 1983, var det mest af alt et historisk sted i forfald.
Enorme pengesummer og winemaker ekspertise fra selveste Michel Delon (fra 2. Cru Classé Léoville-Las Cases) har de seneste årtier bragt slottet tilbage på rette hylde med fremragende vine og topratings i bunkevis.

In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry , plum and fresh / fleshy raspberry associated with discreet hints of red berries as well as woody hints / chocolate and slight touches of caramle .
